The first month of summer is perfect for donning my favorite color: yellow.

This month, I’m rocking all shades of my beloved hue lately, which means several adorable pieces from last fall (+ a couple of new pieces perfect for the upcoming fall too) are getting their just desserts too!
I’ve also been v. into polka dots these days. There’s something so carefree about the pattern that resonates with me most during my months off from full-time work.
I’ve also really enjoyed simple pairings this month such as white + denim or chambray + linen, that feature just a pop of just a yellow. As much as I love a set of elaborately coordinated accessories, I appreciate that looks that let such bright + happy hue like yellow get the attention it deserves. (Red might be the only other, in my opinion, that this is true for.)
