Miscellaneous, Inc.
I’m adding a new section to the Weekend Edit, entitled Miscellaneous, Inc. Often, both in store & online, I stumble across beauty, fashion, and lifestyle hacks, tips, and more that are too good to keep to myself! Below is a short list of last week’s miscellaneous finds.
(1) Two $8 camisole tops from TJ Maxx. Check out my post here!
(2) Three additions to my skincare lineup. Vitamin C facial serum, Argan + Vitamin E facial oil, roseship oil – which does wonders for the acne scars on my face. (Pictured above.) I purchased all three for under $20 at Marshall’s. I also love that their all travel sized.
(3) A quick & simple recipe for garlic shrimp pasta. I’ve been following Maryanne – also known as The Little Epicurean – on Facebook for a couple of years. I’ve saved many of her recipes, but because I rarely cook for myself, hadn’t tried one until Saturday night. Unfortunately, I was out of garlic cloves, and didn’t have time to pop by the market. I substituted with half a small jar of minced garlic & opted to include garlic powder. It was still delicious & the beau approved!
(4) The same dress I purchased from Nordstrom for $46, at Marshall’s for only $20! Luckily, I haven’t worn the dress – I was saving it for a future color crush capsule – and it only arrived two weeks ago!Â
(5) My favorite sweater from last autumun’s most liked look, also available at Marshall’s for only $20! This sweater was insanely popular last season, & sold lot hotcakes. I even remember getting the sweetest Instagram DM from a man asking if I was selling mine because his girlfriend couldn’t find it in stock anywhere. Well the surplus stock is back, and cheaper than ever!
Instagram Lately
As you may know, I spent the first two weeks of the month vacationing with my family in San Diego. I wanted to make the most of my time with them, so I decided not to prioritize photoshoots & outfit pics. Consequently, there isn’t much to this Instagram Lately, but to be honest, I’m perfectly okay with that trade-off. Below are the details of my top five looks on Instagram.
