Color Crush Spring: Pastels

This spring I’ve been crushing on all things pastel (again)!

Pastels for spring? Groundbreaking.

Don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed dabbling in a less predictable palette last year. (Spoiler: I plan to bring that back very soon.) I have to admit, however, that I will forever have a soft spot for pastels; specifically, lemon yellow + baby blue. Take this closet snap shot from 2018, for example. I love how any shade of yellow looks on Black skin + there is nothing better than being a walking reflection of all the sunshine I am beyond ecstatic to soak in this time of year. Sage, mint green’s slightly more subtle cousin, is also having a fashion moment, so naturally I’ve added a more pieces in this color to my wardrobe as well. Y’all know I love light green in both clothing + home decor.

All that said, I’ll get to what you came for: the roundup of pieces in each of the capsule colors. I’ve linked my purchases + many more that I am came across while shopping + loved so much I had to share. To shop any of the looks from the photo above, head here.
