Festive City Chic: Tartan Skirt & Boohoo Teddy Coat -

Merry Christmas Eve!

This is the second look in my holiday edition color crush capsule! This looks includes nine items & only two of them are new. Every other piece is at least two years old!

I’ve been wanting a teddy coat for absolutely forever, and finally caved when I saw this white one. One of my students called me Cookie Lyons when he saw it, and I couldn’t stop laughing because I truly do feel like a bougie city-slickin’ queen in this coat.

Of course after I made that purchase, I had to add these gorgeous ivory tassel earrings to my ever-growing collection.

Tartan is by far my favorite holiday print! It makes me feel so festive, and I swear it gives anyone who sees you insta-holiday cheer! I’ve had this scarf (similar here & I love that it’s monogrammable) and this boucle skirt for a few years ago, but could never get the perfect shoot in them. Historically, I’ve always paired the skirt with a white turtleneck, but loved it SO much more when I tried it with this black turtleneck. The black fleece lined tights were practical and a way to balance the top, to ensure all the attention went to this fun pattern. I finished off with a pop of red on my head (similar hat here) & toes!
