Today marks the first blog post I’ve written in almost four months, and to celebrate I’m indulging in a little early summer vacation inspiration by rounding up my favorite must-have palm print pieces for the upcoming season. With graduate school, a wedding, a bachelorette party, and travel plans on the horizon, I’m happy to say this summer will be the busiest I’ve ever had. This, of course, also means I have a number of reasons to expand my summer wardrobe, and what more iconic print to add than palm print! Even though palm print was popular last season, in recent months I have seen a surge in available pieces, ranging from clothing to home decor, offered by a number of retailers at a variety of price points. If you’ve been following me of social media, you may have noticed that I’m currently color crushing on pastels and by far my favorite pieces are the ones infused with a little pink. I also love when large leaves are printed on a white background, as you can mix and match these pieces with any color or other pattern you’re currently loving.
I love, love, love this flounced bodysuit! I wore it on the shoulders as a faux ruffle sleeve top at work, and off the shoulder to dinner later that evening. It has the most figure flattering stretch, is made of a bathing suit type of material and is only $15! Get it here!
Needless to say I am totally and helplessly in love with this midi skirt. The material feels close to a heavier faux satin, comes with a mid-thigh length lining, and includes a hidden back zipper. I ordered a large and it fits my waist perfectly, although I would not recommend wearing it to a buffet or other large meal. I obsessed with the pink palm leaf detail, and I’m already planning on donning this for two or three events in the next month. Get yours here! Did I mention this skirt is under $30?!
