Autumn in November is the best time to wear my favorite color: mustard yellow!

We’ve been looking forward to this capsule for so long! Josie and I wanted to wear mustard yellow in August, but because November is my birthday month, I decided to save wearing my favorite color as a gift to myself!
The Capsule
The November CCC focused on lots of mustard & hunter green, while incorporating a couple of cheetah print pieces from October that were too good to store away.
It also included a few subtle prints: dots and yes, florals. (Florals for fall? Groundbreaking.) My sweater collection was, of course, my favorite part of this capsule (as per usual) and skirts with pretty finishes like velvet, faux leather, & sateen.
How to Style
Almost all of my favorite looks from this capsule – whether a mini skirt, or a midi dress – included boots! Yellow, white, & of course the cheetah print stunners from last month were on heavy rotation.
With winter approaching, warm headwear was a must! In the looks below, you’ll notice each hat always matches one other piece. I did this because I want my accessories to feel like a part of an outfit, instead of an afterthought – or a distraction – especially given how noticeable each of these hats are.
As always, I loved a simple turtleneck sweater & jeans combo. I added my faux Gucci belt & a cheetah print handbag for a bit of flair.
